Terms of Service

By ordering from lght.dev, you agree to the terms below. They keep both sides clear on how a project runs, from first message to final handover. These terms may be updated over time — the version in effect when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

Scope & Quotes
Every project is quoted against an agreed scope before any work begins. The price is fixed to that scope; features or changes requested later are quoted separately as add-ons.
Payments
Work starts once the agreed deposit is received, with the balance due on completion before final files are handed over. Because each build is custom and made specifically for you, deposits are non-refundable once development has started.
Revisions
Each project includes an agreed number of revision rounds so we land the result you want. Revisions beyond that, or changes outside the original scope, are billed separately.
Delivery & Timelines
You'll get a realistic timeline before I start and updates as it moves. Delivery depends on receiving what I need from you — assets, content, access, feedback — on time; delays there shift the timeline accordingly.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, the code and files are yours to keep, host, and change however you like. I may retain a private copy for my own records.
Third-Party Services
Projects may rely on outside tools, hosting, or APIs (payment providers, libraries, and the like). Their costs, terms, and uptime are outside my control, and any required subscriptions or fees are the client's responsibility.
Your Responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you provide, and for holding the rights to any content, branding, or assets you hand over for use in the project.
Warranty & Liability
Work is delivered as agreed and tested before handover. Beyond that, services are provided "as is" — lght.dev isn't liable for indirect losses, downtime, or damages arising from use of the delivered work, or from changes made to it after handover.
Right to Decline
I may decline or stop a project at my discretion — for example if a request is unlawful, abusive, or outside what I offer. Where I end a project early through no fault of yours, any unearned portion of your payment is returned.
Confidentiality
Anything you share for a private project stays private. I won't show or discuss your project publicly without your OK, though I may reference general, non-identifying experience.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may change at any time. The version in effect when you order is the one that governs that project.

By placing an order with lght.dev, you confirm you've read and agree to these terms. Thanks for trusting me with your build — I'll do right by it.
